Art Class: Mixed Media Project

I was hired to lead a great group of ladies in a mixed media project the other week. We did a collage, then used stencils and paint to create these little beauties. Here's my sample-example:

And here's a shot of the girls with their finished projects.

It ended up being a pretty fun project with a great group of gals. Win-win.

it's been a while...

if only all the witty posts that I've written in my head while trying to sleep could be automatically updated here.... then you would have heard all about my painting process where explained each step with corresponding images and insightful banter. Good idea, right? Someday....

Lately however I have been busy doing actual work (instead of documenting previous work). I'm working towards a couple more competitions and trying to finish up about 5 new paintings.

(aside) why do i always wait for the last minute? motivating and stressful. alas....

Anyway, hang tight, I haven't forgotten you and look forward to showing you some of the newbies. Just as soon as I meet (fingers crossed) my deadlines.
